Description

ACEN, 2012.

Julius-Ezra Bubo, the friendly mail courier horned owl harpy.... thing.
He's an original character of mine.

We were in a hurry, so I didn't get to really put these on correctly (also hence why the background is a parking garage o_O).

There were supposed to be suspenders, an optional tie (I was iffy on it from the start), elbow-length fingerless gloves (served to both cushion and hide my hands) and a different pair of shoes (would have had to dig them out of a suitcase I was packing in a hurry o_O).

Also, yes, I know, the arm covers are terrible. They're garbage.... but thats kinda what happens when you've been fixing a wing from 6pm (after coming home from 8-5 work) to 2am, and then fighting with said arm covers to get them right (I dunno... by 3am it was beyond my comprehension on how to do them o_O).

I'm going to rip the arm covers off and use the material I've been wanting to use since the beginning (a faux fur thats kind of feathery-like).

I'm also going to be adding a tail, that works similar to the wings primaries (it's like a folding fan concept), to complete his design.
Also to add, a clip that goes on the goggles with some short brown feathers - a representation of the great horned owl's feather tufts... as Julius is loosely based on a brown GHOwl (depending on the region that they inhabit (north or south), they are either on the grey side, or the brown side, with varying degrees in between).

How did you go about doing your final arm covers? They look great!
